Residential Air Conditioning and Heating
Bertsch Heating and Air provides home air conditioning installation, service, replacement and repair, and furnace installation, service, replacement and repair for Springfield, MO and the surrounding communities.
Air Conditioning Repair
Sometimes the solution is simple, but sometimes it's not. Either way, our professional air conditioning technicians will determine what the problem is and explain it to you, along with suggestions for the best solutions for your air conditioning or problems. We work on any unit, any brand.
Furnace Installation, Service, Replacement and Repair
Our trained HVAC technicians will diagnose the trouble with your central heating system, answer all your questions, and provide the best solutions for your situation.
A furnace upgrade or install may require new ductwork. If so, our sheet metal craftsmen can design and fabricate the exact ductwork your system needs, right here in our own shop.
Even the best equipment needs care and attention to run at peak efficiency. An annual cleaning and routine inspection can catch small problems before they grow into major ones. Well-maintained equipment always runs better and longer, and uses less energy. And that means savings for you.
We Install Trane Products
As Trane dealers, we can offer you Trane products from the competitively price 13-14 SEER up to the very efficient and quiet 17-200 SEER air conditioners, as well as 96% efficient variable speed multi-stage furnaces.
Quick Turnaround on Any Job

Help Keep Your System Running At It's Best
As a homeowner, you can keep your system working better and longer by taking just a few maintenance steps on your own.
- Change heating filters at recommended intervals. Questions about which filter to choose or how often to change it? Call us, and we'll be happy to tell you.
- Keep the top and sides of your outside a/c system clean and debris-free. Remove leaves and sticks, and keep all landscaping elements at least 18 inches away.
- Don't put off minor repairs until they turn into major problems. If your cooling or heating system is more than 10 years old, if it needs frequent repairs, or your utility bills keep rising, you may need to consider replacing your existing equipment.
- Air conditioning units must be tuned-up when outdoor temperatures are above 65 degrees, generally in late spring. We won't fire up the heat when it's hot out, but we can check the blowing motor/wheel in summer. Call for heating unit maintenance when the temperatures drop a bit.
